   An expression used to guess the content of the preceding statement.

   앞에 오는 말의 내용을 추측함을 나타내는 표현.

   ※ ‘있다’, ‘없다’, ‘계시다’나 ‘있다’, ‘없다’로 끝나는 형용사, 동사 또는 ‘-으시-’, ‘-겠-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

• 승규의 표정이 안 좋은 걸 보니 내가 실수를 한 듯했다.

  Seeing Seunggyu's expression, it seemed like I had made a mistake.

• 그의 얼굴은 어디에선가 본 듯했고 처음 만나는 사람인데도 왠지 친숙했다.

  His face seemed familiar, like I'd seen it somewhere before, and even though we were meeting for the first time, he felt oddly familiar.

• 학교가 조용한 걸 보니 모두 집으로 돌아간 듯했다.

  Seeing how quiet the school was, it seemed like everyone had gone home.

• 오랜만이다. 요새 왜 통 연락이 없었니? 선배님께서 너무 바쁘신 듯해서 조금 이따가 연락을 드리려고 했어요.

  It's been a while. Why haven't you been in touch at all lately? You seemed so busy that I was planning to reach out a bit later.

• 승규가 흠뻑 젖어서 온 걸 보니 아직도 비가 오는 듯하다.

  Seeing that Seunggyu came in soaking wet, it seems it's still raining.

• 아직 이 일은 아무도 모르는 듯하니 드러내지 말고 그냥 덮어 두자.

  It seems no one knows about this yet, so let's not reveal it and just keep it covered up.
