   뒤에 오는 말에 대한 조건으로 앞에 오는 말에 대한 말하는 사람의 의지를 나타내는 표현.

   ※ ‘ㄹ’을 제외한 받침 있는 동사 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

   An expression used to indicate the speaker's strong guess as a condition for the following statement.

   뒤에 오는 말에 대한 조건으로 말하는 사람의 강한 추측을 나타내는 표현.

   ※ ‘ㄹ’을 제외한 받침 있는 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-었-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.

  I'll eat the small one, so you take the big one.

• 내가 택시를 잡을 테니 당신은 아이들 데리고 여기 있어요.

  I'll go catch a taxi, so you stay here with the kids.

• 내가 부동산에 이 집을 내놓을 테니 당신은 새로 이사할 집을 보러 가도록 해.

  I'll list this house with the real estate agent, so you go look at places to move into.

• 가방에 약을 넣을 테니 잊지 말고 먹어.

  I'll put the medicine in your bag, so don't forget to take it.

• 아마 오늘은 좀 늦을 테니 먼저 저녁을 드세요.

  I'll probably be a bit late today, so please have dinner first.

• 명절 음식을 만드느라 힘들었을 테니 주말에는 푹 쉬세요.

  You must be tired from making all the holiday food, so please rest well this weekend.
