    A connective ending used when assuming or recognizing the truth of the preceding statement, but implying that it is not related to or does not influence the following statement.

    앞에 오는 말을 가정하거나 인정하지만 뒤에 오는 말에는 관계가 없거나 영향을 끼치지 않음을 나타내는 연결 어미.

    ※ ‘이다’, 동사와 형용사 또는 ‘-으시-’, ‘-었-’, ‘-겠-’ 뒤에 붙여 쓴다.
