-에 없어요

is not at/in ~

Attaches to a place noun with the location particle 에 and the negative existential verb 없다 to state that a person or thing is not present at that place; a basic, everyday spoken pattern.

Examples

  • 지금 사무실에 없어요. 잠깐 나갔어요.

    They're not in the office right now; they stepped out for a bit.

  • 제 지갑이 가방 안에 없어요.

    My wallet isn't in my bag.

  • 요즘 그 카페는 예전 자리에 없어요.

    These days, that cafe isn't at its old location anymore.
